Believer:
Sadly I did not place any wagers tonight. My brother is heading to Iraq tomorrow with the Air Force Reserve and I spent a majority of the late afternoon/early evening with him. His wife recently had a major spinal surgery and will be laid up till at least February so my wife and I will be helping with some of their family affairs. He has two children and his son is a top hockey player on his high school team so I'll be stepping in getting him to practices & games.
My friend Jack of course is at the track and my phone rang the minute the 10th race finished. I strongly encouraged him to wager the 8-7 on top in race 10. He liked the 7 better and only used him on top. I didn't feel too badly for him. He loved the 3-7 combination in race 2 and of course had the early double, 2nd race ex and tri so he is showing a nice evening profit.
By the way, if this was a two race per night contest I really like the 3-4-6 ex and tri in race 12 which is coming up. I think spending $18 on a tri bet of 346/346/23456 might pay nicely.

This board was active when Northfield had the horses , drivers and handle.
Take a look at all the great members who loved the racing and handicapping the flying turns.
Think i'll start a thread ...WHERE are they now and what track do you follow .
