 Good Luck ! Post-time 5:30 pm Unable to watch the great racing at Northfield tonight (NO VIDEO  ) , so i handicapped the Harrington card for SUNDAY JUNE 10TH R1...2-6-1-3 R2...6-8-2-3 R3...3-1-8-4 R4...3-2-1-6 R5...2-1-4-6..... I'm watching Northfield and handicapping Harrington in between races. I can only multitask like this on weekends. The rest of the week I have to waste precious handicapping time

Hi Trackrat , the cbssportsline is the video i have used since Northfield stopped providing free video , I've given out the site to many of the members over the past year or so..............about 3 weeks ago a message from youbet (they provide the actual video of the races) said that i could no longer view any races by youbet unless i had an account .I tried to set up an account with Youbet and two other American online sites , they all want a credit card on file .....i refuse to do this , i like others I'm sure feel the same way ...i budget my wagers based on my bankroll.....i go to an off track bar ( very nice pub) and make my wagers for the night , there is no changing of your wagers ...i spend what i intend to( like you or anyone hasn't gotten carried away after a nice winning wager) . In conclusion , i will have to go with a Canadian on line Horse Player Interactive ...provide them with data , set up account with cash and visit the track ( MOHAWK , WOODBINE to put money in the account( no credit card required) to watch video off the races carried by them , fortunately Northfield is one they carry. on-line There you have it trackrat in a long drawn out explantion. My ip address MUST BE BLOCKED on Youbet , as i can't view any races from any track on cbssportsline.com Big M , Harrington , Windsor , Grand River and Rideau are the only tracks that i can WATCH AT THIS TIME ! |

Taylor, I'm fortunate that I can watch the races on the CBS website. I have a Betharness account but no money in it, so they won't let me watch the races for free. Betharness lets you deposit in your account through a credit card, check or at Northfield Park. The credit card option is a hassle because most credit cards will not allow a deposit to a gambling account. I can understand that, because of the explosion of internet gambling excesses. I only live 20 minutes from Northfield, so I can either bet live or deposit cash in my Betharness account at the track (if I choose to bet online). I bet CBS cut you off because they have to pay Katie Couric a gazillion dollars... just a thought.

Hi Believer, Here's how I did it, and it has been completely trouble free for 5 years now. When I first opened up my You-bet account 5 years ago, I didn't like the credit card option either. They charge 4% at You Bet and another % from the card itself, and the only way to get your winnings back is have You-Bet mail you a check.Not a good plan. What I did was open up a separate checking account at the bank ( free checking / over 50 ) , and attach that account
to You bet's Express Cash system. They only charge $1 to make a deposit, which you can make instantly with a mouse click. When you want to collect your winnings it works the same way in reverse, but it takes about 3 days to re- apear in your account and this transaction is FREE ! Like I said , Ive used this for about 5 years now and it has been 100% trouble free. They also give you wagering credits that actually add up to something. They have a catalog of first quality merchandise to choose from , or you can use credit points to purchase programs online. The whole system works great, and I haven't been to an OTB in over 4 years and I play all the time ( as you already know LOL !! ) Ocala Jim.

1st Race: Got it all !! Win,Ex. & Tri. 5.40 / 25.00 / 74.60 ;D $$$$ ;D 2nd Race: Key Scratched / No Bets. 3rd Race: Made last min. saver Ex. Box 1-2 after I saw the late driver change to Tetrick on #2. ( helped a little ) 4th Race: Got it all !! Win, Ex, & Tri. 3.20 / 16.80 / 50.00 ( Super too, even though I didn't play it $106.60 ) ;D $$$$ ;D 6th Race: Kickin' *ss & takin' names ;D ;D ;D Win, Ex, & Tri / 8.60 / $58.40 / $147.20 ;D $$$$ ;D 9th Race: Oh well. The roll had to end sometime. They always do  Tuff to bet against Tetrick on a Fav. 10th Race: Key 2nd / reverse version of my tri would'a worked for $224.60. Didn't play it that way 13th Race: Ex. / Tri. 16.60 / 37.40 Short prices but helps 14th Race: Ex. & Tri. 76.60 / 157.20 Nice way to end the night !!! ;D $$$$ ;D Try it again Wednesday. Ocala Jim. |
