That is an impressive card at Mohawk tonight, with over $3.5 million in total purses. While Tell All has that 26.3 closing speed, I like the:
#2 Yankee Skyscraper with George Brennan: won his elimination in the NA Cup last week with a two wide brush and a 26.4 closing quarter, moves further inside. Posted a 149.4 at the BigM two weeks ago.
#4 Sutter Hanover with David Miller: Undefeated in three outings in 2007, beating the speed ratings in all three races. Partial to this one because David Miller is my all-time favorite driver and a Buckeye.
For a purse of $1,500,000 this should be interesting. Heck, even the third place finisher gets $187,500. So, do you go all out to win the $750,000 first place check or do you strategically race for a part of the $1,500,000?

I may have forgotten to mention , my wife was telling me about a interview she watched on the local Hamilton TV station , Jody Jamieson the driver of #3 TELL ALL was being asked questions why he chose the horse he did ( his father a top trainer also has a horse in the race--Answer- it was a business decision- he feels Tell ALL will win! ..... I was shocked , I almost fell off the patio chair i was seated on having conversation and morning coffee , when the wife told me all this...AND ...could you put a couple of bucks on Tell ALL TO WIN ... As my wife never bets!
