Most of you knwo that Clair is a friend of mine. Lately, a few patrons ahve been claiiming he is feeding me inside info because my win rate when picking Umholtz horses is much higher than it should be. Yeah right. Simple question for all you guys (no prize). What is the Umholtz Stable UTRS when Dan or Clair are not driving. Don't compute it--just an "off the top," kind of figure, which is what most 'cappers would use. Answer in a day or two.

I calculated this a couple of months back and if not mistaken he was about .375 if you backed his drives out- and a little over .425 when you backed out Dan. Clair is a very good conditioner without a doubt.
From an owners perspective and a couple of trainers that I know we all cringe when Keith picks us.

Credit where credit is due-- the phrase was actually coined by Craig Stein. Umholtz, prior to Monday, was at .290, (and yes Jay, he was well over .350 earlier this summer) which puts him in the top ten. I just wonder how many 'cappers not as astute as those on the board pick this up.

Craig has staretd a new career as a professional poker player. Doing okay, too. Not sure if Cindy will be back after serving her caffiene suspensions.
