Mike and I have discussed adding a Pick 3 on the 2nd race for multi-race betters who get knocked out of the double, but my bosses have not yet agreed with us. Looking at tonight's carryovers, it is obvious the Pick 5 is eroding, with a $1000 carryover, while the Pick 4, with a $4k C/O is at least holding. So, would you be more likely to bet:
A Pick 3 in the 2nd, with a Pick 4 in the 3rd and a Pick 4 in the 8th A Pick 3 in the 2nd with a Pick 4 in the 4th and a Pick 4 in the 8th The Pick 5 in the 3rd and the Pick 4 in the 8th?
Thanks

I'd eliminate choice C, as the pick 5 just isn't getting bet.
Between choice A and B, I'd go with A. The new pick 4 is race 3 doesn't draw money out of the super as it might in race 4.

I agree with Thanksforthecash in going with option A. I only play the pick five if there is a significant carryover which means maybe once or twice a month yet I almost always play the pick four. I'd rather have a second pick four begin in race three which as Thanksforthecash pointed out keeps the opening leg away from the 4th race superfecta and the final leg away from the 7th race superfecta.

Myself I predominately play pick 3's. For me to put any serious money in pick4's I need to have a solid single and another race with a single or 2 deep at most, otherwise I may bet a buck or 2. Pick 5's I have been waiting till there is at least $5000 in the carryover.
I have actually as of late started passing on Northfield from race 3 through 6 as no options for a multiple race wager and have been shifting to The Meadowlands during that time frame
