Believer, from the Northfield program and the actual race results, it looks like the best horse won this race last night, Bad Man Hall, who has been racing in the Open class but had just missed last week when dropping to NW450. Dropping even further last night, the only thing NOT to like was Renaldo Morales III in the bike. Haven't seen too much of him driving but I understand he migrated here from Pompano Park. Maybe the Giss has some background on him.
I think Moreland Flash was the recipient of an outer flow last week that included cover that broke, interference to other horses and better horses locked on the rail because of the outer flow and the breaking. I would find it hard to bet John G with someone else's money.

Trackrat , I agree with your comments , especially this one "I would find it hard to bet John G with someone else's money. John G's horses seem to be very competitive the past couple of weeks even with him driving and he is at the bottom in the driver's standings.

Believer, John G is a much better trainer than driver. Johnny D has been driving very well at Scioto, from watching him the last two Friday nights. Still, it seems like Dan Noble is right on the verge of exploding into prominence, after battling drug demons for so long. Hopefully, he'll stay sober.
