DON’T BET A FAVORITE UNLESS YOU THINK IT CAN GET A TOUGH TRIP AND STILL WIN.

DON’T BET A FAVORITE UNLESS YOU THINK IT CAN GET A TOUGH TRIP AND STILL WIN. Does anyone on this board wagering favorites , use this type of thinking when they wager a lock of the night at 3-5?

I would never bet a 3-5 favorite in a straight bet. The minimal gain is not worth the risk. I would use a 3-5 on top of an exotic ticket, though.
