Owner/trainer has been around for a couple years. Just earned his P after getting enough satisfactory Q drives. Has a brief apparent history as an owner/trainer driver in the eighties (briefer than my career)

This guy has picked up some decent horses. Right now, he's an automatic toss as a driver, but his horses look good enough to make the bottom of the ticket on trifectas and superfectas even with him driving. Speaking of owners who waste good horses by driving them themselves, how is Dan Kennedy doing? Has he recovered from his injuries?

I jogged a couple for Clair today (testing rehab from my own injuries) and he said Dan hopes to be driving by summer, although he still has some pain. I undrestand he is really pushing his PT. The scarier thought is that I was pain-free and am contrempalting a return to the race bike. Just one or two more hurdles to pass. |
