Actually that is pretty good. I am sure that ML has an arrangement to rent that space and generates some sort of income with no real risk of losing money. Probably a win - win for all involved. You know it's funny that you said that Jay as there was a wildcat work stoppage for around 20 minutes something to do with the concessionaire. I would doubt that the DD stand was involved. Could be a lesson learned my management to rent the space as you stated. I was buying Broadbrush a beer he had to wait.

My eyes popped out when you said Brooklyn because that's where I was born and raised. Forgot there was a Brooklyn, Ohio lol. You mean there is ANOTHER Brooklyn, beside the one in Ohio?

Hollywood Park promotion tonight. (May 9th) $1 beer, $1dogs, $1 pepsi and a Led Zepplin cover band!
Not a bad promo, I know that would get people out.
Although do to the price of gas I will not be going to Hollywood Park.... ;D

Hey, I'm up (no pun intended) for a wet t-shirt contest or a Tropicana bikini contest (like one of the other tracks), once the weather warms up. Make it a $1 beer night and hire some extra security and who cares if we even have any races?
That's what I'm talking about. Entertain the fans!!
If you cannot attract people to the races, attract them to the RACETRACK by any means and once you have them there, expose them to your product.
