Keith, was that the new Northfield record for an exacta Friday night in the twelfth race: EXACTA 8-7 = $2315.60?
Are you sure Wright didn't stop halfway through the race, in the fog, and then join the stretch drive, ala Rosie Ruiz in the NY marathon?

Congrats go out to Wright. It was his first win I was told. The same day I got my first owners win at Northfield!

For a few more weeks at least. Shuttling back and forth between Ga and Oh. Was there to qualify a mare of mine on Friday and get a bunch of business arrangements in order. Will probably be racing about 5-8 head when I get there. Have had them with two different trainers in the mean time, and boy I can remember now why I dont like paying training bills!  But I will also say the two guys I have had my horses with in the mean time have done a great job! |
