Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I am here to make a case fro Royal Tattler on tongiht's card in the 10th race. This animal is 1 for 70 going back to Oct 12 of 2005! The 1 win came with Matthew Don Kakaley in the bike on Halloween, which seems oddly appropriate, and in fact, in 6 drives of this horse, Matt also has a 2nd...accounting for 2 of his 8 on the board finished over the last 15 months and 2 of 4 since the first time Matt drove him.
The other contenbders are all suspect. Uncle Choe gets class relief but appears ill-suited to a half-mile oval; Zeus's Spirit drops to level of his last win but has post 8. Leach is Leach; Albert's ANgel never wins (and I was able to finish 2nd with him!), My Dugan? Nope. Linn Side Louie has Dan Kennedy driving; Johnny Santana has not passed a horse in over a month. Bahama Bomberhasn't won since at least 2006.
Royal Tattler in a jog? At 15 or 20-1.
I rest my case

Good luck Keith - I will stick to the ill-suited one- paced a middle half in 59 and a piece hung out in a race he needed. I would make a side wager for a cup of coffee- but the winner would still be a loser

If Royal Tattler were ever to grace the winner's circle again, the track conditions and his competition tonight seem perfect for the set up. Still, I'm sticking with #7 Uncle Choe, hung out in his last race, but still came home in 29.4, faster than anyone else in this race has been doing. However, we have the Dan Kennedy factor at work in this race. Kennedy has left for the top the last two races with Linn-Side Louie and could not make it. Look for more of the same tonight.
Want a long shot? Zeus's Spirit with Andrew Wright. Could be another Stormy Gray Sea. Same driver. Same trainer. Same post position. Naw! Can't happen twice, can it?

Wright needed a little more fog.

Keith - good pick - I thought he got up in time.
