Why wouldn't Northfield do the right thing and refund money on the 9 in the last race? The horse was interferred with before the word "go". It isn't a tough call. It is exactly that type of thing that has turned me from a bigger bettor into a smaller bettor. I do not think I am alone on this one either. They really dropped the ball on this one and I probably will bet less there from now on. Maybe I should change my name from Ionceluvedtheturnsbutnowamtiredofnotgettingafairshake.
At least I still have my memories!

luvtheturns , i didn't see race 13 but if more people feel as you do , while not ask the officials to give you an answer as to why no recall or refund was made

We were standing right there and the 1 took the 9 out BEFORE any word from the starter. I've received "rulings" from judges before and have yet to agree with one of them. I'm sure if you talk with people that saw the race and know a bit about racing they will agree it wasn't a fair start for the 9. Fairness is all it is about.

Isn't it also the responsibility of the driver of #9 to report the interference by the #1 to the judges ?

Just spoke to the owner of the #9. He said if she was bothered, whcih Corky said she wasn't, it was minimally. He said she was bad,-- first start in a new barn and some new rigging just didn't work out.
