Congratulations to Pete Kass and John Allen Jr. on the Monday night wins of their two pacers, Booshay and Riccafella Center, respectively.
Booshay , a lightly raced four year old son of Arts Conquest and Japonica, notched his first career win in 201.3 in the fifth race, paying $13.00, $4.60 and $4.20., beating the 6-5 favorite, The Pan Coulee Dam. Booshay is jointly owned by Tony Peregrin and Pete Kass and was trained by Pete. Ryan Angus was up in the bike.
Riccafella Center, under a confident drive by Wyatt Irvine, hit the wire in 157.3 to edge out the 7-5 fan favorite Compass's Big Guy. Ricky paid $7.40, $3.00 and $2.40. That makes five races in a row that Ricky has been on the board for trainer Keven Ehrhardt and regular driver Irvine, most of those drives coming from outside post positions.
Coming up Wednesday evening, Jay has Wheres My Toy going in the third race NW 320 PS on a special Wednesday 14-race card that starts at 5:30PM. Good luck Jay and congratulations again to both Pete and Jay on their Monday night successes.

Trackrat - thanks for the kudos - Ricky has really turned the corner- hard to believe I could not sell him for $2500 a month or 2 back. I remember when I could not sell Well Bet a little over a year ago for $2500 - turned out to be a blessing with him - Ricky won't hit that level but he is competitive where he is at. I am also starting to see a real glimmer of hope with Explore and HP also. A Big turn around from February and the strangles.

Thanks! I appreciate it. Wasn't expecting him to win, figured he'd be short! I thought the two would win, go figure. Also got to meet Jay right as his race was going off! Congrats!
