Yesterday evening was the opening of the new lounge. It was evident that it was opened before it had the finishing touches. Battle weekend and came to quick.
That is the only negative thing one could say about this room is that the last few details have not been completed. With that said it is quite obvious that there was a lot of thought behind the design and the patrons themselves to construct a lounge of this quality at a racing facility in Northeast OH.
It was quite impressive and has become my new choice to view the races. There were no charges to sit in there last night and I am not sure if that will stay that way.
Any time I bring a newcomer to the track I will make sure we sit in there for at least one beverage and race.
Kudos to Northfield Park on a fine job done.
