As the New year approaches I would just like to take a second to give thanks to the ladies who put up with us. Especially at this time of year I saw in the postings how they are putting down their feet and rightfully so I guess. I know it can't be easy on them, they are a special breed that's classier than a standardbred or thoroughbred. Just a quick question that's sort of on this topic. How far is NF from the Holiday Innn in Strongsville? I'll be going there sometime in the spring and even though she will be mad at me I can get out 1 night and finally visit the home of the flying turns.

Here is the mapquest directions from the Holiday Inn Strongsville to Northfield Park. The Holiday Inn Strongsville is right at I-71 and Route 82:
Directions Distance Total Est. Time: 33 minutes Total Est. Distance: 28.24 miles
1: Start out going WEST on ROYALTON RD / OH-82 W toward OH-82 E. 0.2 miles 2: Merge onto I-71 N toward CLEVELAND. 1.5 miles 3: Merge onto I-80 E via EXIT 233 toward TOLEDO / YOUNGSTOWN (Portions toll). 19.2 miles 4: Merge onto OH-8 N via EXIT 180 toward I-90. 7.1 miles 5: End at 10705 Northfield Rd Northfield, OH 44067-1236, US Total Est. Time: 33 minutesTotal Est. Distance: 28.24 miles
Being new to this area, you might be better just taking Rte 82 east to Route 8 and then turning left on Route 8 (Northfield Road), going north until you see Northfield Park on the right. It is a longer drive, but you only have the one turn (north on Northfield Road). Might take you about 15 minutes more.

Thanks for the directions. I've been there quite a few times my sister in law lives in Brunswick. I'm good with directions plus I'll have a GPS just in case. My only regret is that it will be on a weekend and we all know those are the worst days to go to the track.
