Wednesday racing is back. I know Longshot Mike is happy to see that as a majority of nights with
Big scores have been on the hump day card. One race I will have to stay on the sidelines is Ricky’s race.
Hopefully he does well but as a gambler I can not bet him as I think Windy Bay Star is the horse to beat.
Race 1
#5 Mistress Ten – 3rd start back after sick scratch- better post – 3rd from 8 hole in last
#1 Striding Out – only 3rd lifetime start – trotted even in last- with a flat trip could hit the exotics at a nice price
#3 Dancen S J – used hard to the front in last start here – appears to have ability- should be close
Race 2
#3 French Attack – not much in here to beat and he has had some decent miles here
#1 Sunnys Jet Fuel – Gates Angus back who has hit the ticket with him 3 straight- add to that he gets the rail
#5 Really Sexy Guy – well bred – good connections – big back half in qualifier – could be good enough to win
Race 3
#6 R U A Looker – just needs to stay flat to handle these
#3 Bigmacatac – always a threat at this level when draws inside
#8 Thunder Boomer – I like that last mile on the fair circuit – could hit the ticket against these
Race 4
#1 Forever JC – big driver change has the rail also
#2 Slow Cookin Sadie – better post worth consideration
#8 Back Home Again – may be the best horse in here – but the post and potential traffic is a concern
Race 5
#9 Crop Support N – looks like a good spot for him to notch another victory on the year
#1 Gadjet – this one is getting better each and every start – have to consider
#4 Townline Powerful – in pretty good form – can not overlook his chances
Race 6
#2 Rare Connection – in top form- 16 out of 24 in the money
#1 Katies Valentine – big effort from the outside – now draws the rail
#5 Ms Silver Spoon – Should be close at the wire – this is the softest she has faced in a while
Race 7
#1 Paper Magic – winner 2 back – big back half in last for a check – dangerous from the rail
#3 Indiscredtion – should be on the chooch – will need a breather or a clogged outerflow to prevail
#9 Albert’s angel – most likely will come 1st up – not sure how he will fare if he does not clear easily
Race 8
#1 Supper Jenny – I don’t like Conger on a favorite- with that said can he find a way to lose this
#5 Shesa Partygirl – sharp qua. Followed up by a nice win – may be the one who could beat the top choice
#2 Samurai’s Revenge – tired late in last - - prior effort is good enough to put him in contention
Race 9
#5 Nuke Kidin Town – gets some class relief – and should be tough to beat here
#2 Up Front Racer – shifts inside and retains Kakaley – best post he has had in a while
#4 Sharp Outlaw - almost lasted in last with a gate to wire effort against much better – fits well
Race 10
#5 Windy Bay Star – huge mile in last setting lifetime mark – may have more in the tank
#2 E C K – much improved in last and should get a great trip here
#1 Riccafella Center- tough trip in last – should be able to control the early tempo
Race 11
#4 Striking Genius – in pretty nsoft – don’t think he can lose this
#5 Rose Run Ichabod – nice 4 yr old capable of going a big mile- driver change should help
#1 Fugeddaboudit – could ride the pylons and get up 3rd for the tri
Race 12
#2 Forever Nugget – in soft gets a post and has Aaron back in the bike
#6 Tully Hanover – big mile from 8 hole in last with Sugg in the bike- little better post
#4 The Big Wazzoo – has Kakaley and he seems to wake this one up
Race 13
#1 Card Shark De Vie – may have found the right spot – just needs to get early position
#2 See Buns – obvious chalk and will be tough to beat
#9 Windy Bay David – Aaron just may be able to wake this one up
Race 14
#1 Sunny N Lite – pace evenly in last – now gets Aaron
#2 Sky Strikes catches a softer field and should leave for position
#9 N F Gallivant – can’t see many horses passing anyone late – so a ground saving trip – could get him 3rd
