to the ability to watch the judges view during an inquiry? It was a very consumer friendly tool that added credibility to the product.
Now it gives the appearance that something is being hidden from the patrons. What is the reasoning behind the decision to eliminate the ability to watch along?

Jay My guess is that we had a technical glitch. I was not aware that we had stopped providing it. Let me check and get back to you. What night was this and for ho wlong has it gone on?

It has been quite a while now.
They used to announce that you could watch the same view as the judges- on channel 11 or whatever one that night was using. I particularly noticed it the night of the accident in Ricky's Race.
Rumors around the track - if you can believe them as none ever have validity - is they were dine away with as there were to many complaints to the ORC about bad decisions.
Just an opinion - I think it would be a positive thing that if not only the view was made available it would be done on it's regular channel so that even the simulcast patrons could watch along. Anything to add credibility to what is perceived as a tainted product has to help.
Even the NFL lets the fans see what the replay official is looking at.

Even the NFL lets the fans see what the replay official is looking at. And sadly they get it wrong 88.7% of the time!

Any feedback on this topic. Is it something we can look forward to again in the near future?? Jay, our TV operations guy says there is no problem, unless somebody forgot to hit a button. Dave B says he watched one the other day. Please do me a favor if it happens again...if it's a night I am working, let me know right away, if not, e-mail me with the race and we will check into it. Def not OSRC saying no.
