Gis, been racing horses out of state last couple of years, and
besides the bigger purses, the one fantastic amenity offered at all the other tracks, outside of Ohio is the PURSE ACCOUNT.
All the purse money is deposited in an account at the track the following day. Then when you need to pay a bill or need money,
you call the bookeeper for a check to be picked up or mailed the next day.
Then you have checks #'s , payed to info etc... all on one receipt for tax purposes. Plus you have your trainer, vet, ferrier, shipper
pick up there money from the bookkeeper.
Any chance Northfield would ever adopt this system?
