I want to express my appreciation to Taylor for starting this board for handicappers. It is something that I've thought about doing myself from time to time. I'll continue in the contest on the fans board through the end of this month and stay active in the Cliff's Notebook board of that forum, but I hope to expand my postings here, where the real handicappers will eventually congregate. Here's hoping we keep this forum about handicapping and leave the politics, drama, and all that other stuff for the other boards. Thanks again, Taylor.

Thanks for joining us Cliff and thanks again to the Believer for setting this up. Speaking for all of us amateur handicappers, we appreciate your grasp of the science of handicapping, Cliff and applaud you sharing your insight and experience.

Thanks, Trackrat, but we're all amateurs. It benefits us all to share our ideas. This game can be very humbling at times. A forum such as this should make us all better handicappers if we stay on topic. I see guests are already posting extraneous material. Hopefully Taylor will exercise his right to limit those postings.

He's also going to give you, myself and some others the admin ability to delete anything we find inappropriate.
You are right about handicapping being a humbling experience at times. There are times when I couldn't pick the winner even AFTER the race was run and then there are times when I get in a zone and can't miss. Thanks again for joining us.

It's totally up to Taylor, but if he were to ask me, there would be one section for guest posting. Then guests could ask questions or voice opinions on handicapping issues. For some reason there are folks who are reluctant to join forums such as this. I remember it took some cajoling to get believer to join the fans board originally (now he has his own ;D ) We could still delete the total junk and/or ban any ip address that abuses the privilege.

Cliff, you have a point about legitimate guest posting.
