Finally!!

After months of jumping through hoops to satisfy building inspectors, engineers, banks, etc. we're on our way!! Some of you asked to be kept informed of our building process - I'll be adding pics as progress is made.

BW, my history as a bettor is that I am either a week early or a week late. It was nice to hit one on the head for a change.

The winter is NOT the time to start building a home!
We got the basement slab poured, and had to leave it covered with blankets for 5 days or so........ I got the job of framing the house and started Monday the coldest week of the winter so far! I had to send a couple of my crew home to avoid frostbite, and my partner Chuck had to take 3 days off!
I "borrowed" a crew from a friend for a couple days, and we got the first floor on ready for walls!
