Selections for Wednesday December 17. Very disappointing card. I haven't spent a whole lot of time dissecting it.
Race 1
#6 Ideal Ticket- beaten favorite should break through tonight
#3 Fry Vally Ike - may have to wait a week
#5 Kams Sure Shot - third start back, moves back inside
#4 KF Flash - needed that last start, expect better effort tonight
Race 2
#6 Grit Your Teeth - as good as any of this group with the new driver
#3 Thunder Shower - claimer with the inside post
#9 Over's Swiss Lad - 12 year olds don't stay sharp forever
#2 A Joe - a dry track will help this one
Race 3
#3 Sic Em Tiger - decent post for a change, gotta like the driver change
#1 Tanner Monroe - more consideration with a catch driver
#9 Dontsayno - when in doubt, bet the 4 year old, a hot JD will help
#2 Colour Safe - "classiest" of this group, scratch a concern
Race 4
#4 Bubontherun - looks ready to put another string together
#2 Exceptional Toy - probable early leader may not get caught
#1 Slide Lock - sharp, but always has a tough trip
#9 Chief Thunder Thud - injury troubles should be about over, have to include the 4 year old
Race 5
#9 SJ's Chuck - sheds the Billings drivers, terrific effort at the Big M
#8 Royal Cat - tough post, this one has come of age
#5 Heza Chip - look for improvement with the driver change
#2 Mr Mac A Doo - will rough it when he needs to, could hit the board tonight
Race 6
#1 Magic Max - four time winner last year looks ready to rebound
#5 Buzz Hershey- new barn has found the secret
#7 Windspur - in soft, should rebound
#9 Get A Jet - should be flying late
Race 7
#3 Armbro Deck - should be able to lead from here, may not be headed Value Play
#9 The Long Goodbye - new life for his new barn
#2 King Cole - has been a little short
#7 Up Front Northern - another tough trip in store
Race 8
#1 Anzio Hall - well positioned to beat this group
#4 Going Hollywood - super sharp with a good trot man in the bike
#8 Git R Done Dad - drops from the open, tough post to overcome
#2 Double A - moves back inside with the small class drop
Race 9
#3 Ken's On Nuke - first time claiming tag for the Morgan horse
#9 Poh Poh- like this one a lot, rather see him on the gate
#4 Barratry - think the driver is better than the horse
#1 The Pan Coulee Dam - moves to the rail, should pick up a check
Race 10
#9 Artistic Dreamer - don't think we've seen his best
#7 Western Eddie - in soft, Matt will give him the trip
#2 Rapport Hanover - may need the race
#6 Irish Raider - still a question mark, but looks like a race horse
Race 11
#1 Mr Potato Spud - should be easy money against this group
#4 Boy Meets Grill - nice looking colt, should win if the Spud breaks
#2 Chip Chip Tabu - draws a decent post, should hang around
#6 Quikmaster - always like a Billings trotter when a pro gets aboard, layoff the issue
Race 12
#6 Knob Hill Splash - easy winner last time he was here Best Bet
#8 Cabana Kid - horse loves to win, post the hindrance
#1 Up Front Racer - Aaron plus the rail
#4 Lucky And Free - need to see more work from this one, zero for 19 not encouraging
Race 13
#4 BB Bunny Bell - would be a lock with another driver
#3 Blue Rock Joe - nice efforts recently
#2 Final Attack - will leave for position
#5 Sole Music - racing against better stock the past month
Race 13
#5 Silentsteel - under performer looks ready to pop a good one Value Play
#2 Chips Treasure - racing very well lately
#1 David Erol - won this race a couple times recently
#3 Rapid Dialing - must wonder why he's for sale this cheap
Good Luck
