Keith, the snow machine just kicked up on the west side of Cleveland (Brooklyn, Parma), with about two inches in the last 45 minutes, with drifting and strong winds. While you might still be racing tonight, travel will be treacherous for patrons and horsemen. The rest of the week, until Saturday, looks equally bad. Who determines a cancellation? Are the horsemen consulted?

We always consult with the horsemen before we cancel! ;D
If we can keep the track clear, we race. The snow is expected t oend shortly and we do not have much right now- (actually went out and looked before posting). The wind will be brutal tonight, so perhaps there will not be mandatory winners circle returns-- like on 12/21. Wind chills may be treacherous tomorrow (Wednesday night), evn though the wind will die down, but my guess is we will race both nights.

Giss, looks like you race tonight (Tuesday). The snow has subsided after about four inches (west side). If you had some premium coffee, I might venture out there...
