Selections for Monday January 19. Looks like the rail is the place to be tonight, at least early on.
Race 1
#1 Larry Coy - first positive post forever, fast as any of these, and seldom breaks
#9 Mr Mac A Doo - catches a very soft field, should get a nice trip
#4 Smooth Dreamer - moves back inside, on the board too often to ignore
#2 Dale - has the post advantage over the others, also known to stay flat
Race 2
#1 Noble Star King - drops, catches the rail, third time lasix, not much to beat
#3 Steamroller - third start back, tough trip last week
#2 Lotzee Man - also dropping, can leave a little bit
#7 RU Lonesome Tonite - has raced against better, usually passes horses late
Race 3
#1 El Tigger - this 4 should go right down the road against the 3's
#2 Doc Otis - Mr Dan loves to leave, shouldn't be parked out from here
#4 Contradiction - seven time winner last year, Wyatt batting over .300 on trotters
#8 Mr Mime - another 4 in with the 3's, biggest money winner last year, Merriman could get a piece
Race 4
#1 Hoosier Tiger - locked in on a bad track last week, will be on the engine tonight
#4 Bad Boy Bunny - as capable as any of these if he's right
#7 Guile's Boy - last win was in this class, first time Kakaley a solid angle
#3 Brass King - not as bad as he looked last time, could rebound
Race 5
#7 Tato Tato - about as sharp as he gets, can overcome the post
#9 Whos Yur Daddy Now - crushed lesser last week, sharp and fits with these
#1 Ohoka Dale N - will protect his position well
#3 Eye Of The Dog - drops back to his more normal level, flat efforts in last two
Race 6 Breaker Breaker
#5 Sturdy Falcon - wins for fun if he stays flat, and that's a big if Value Play?
