Yes, some of us do read the daily blog and the selections of The Giss. Nice job today as the suggested $48 pick five wager hit and for those that played it returned over $1,700. Alas, I was not one of those that is collecting. I usually split a nice size ticket with a friend when there is a carryover but work was brutal, didn't get home till well after 7 p.m. and didn't have time to properly handicap the pick five. Next time I'll know just to check out the blog and head over to my local racing center where a short time later I'll be leaving with full pockets.

Thanks, Jim. Sometimes you have to play the saver ticket. Needless to say, I did not play it with real money.
One thing for everyone who does visit-- if you have thoughts, feel free to comment.
Hopefully more winners tonight-- while we hit some good prices on individual horses Monday, yesterday's winners were somewhat chalky.

Congratulations on your successful Pick Five selection. I'm one of those guys who could not pick two winners in a row, so (for me) I know how hard it is to pick five, particularly with Northfield's stock in the dead of winter.
