#2 Mike's Heir - drops to the lowest level after a couple months sub par performances

Race 2

#1 Rap S J - has some early speed and a driver who will use it
#2 Moonlight Red - did some decent work last time he was here, could surprise
#7 Valentinos Peace - takes a sizable class drop, could win it if he gets away well
#6 Dream On Shorty - another class dropper who looked like a race horse last week

Race 3

#4 Tough Bow Min - won by ten the last time he dropped this low
#6 Engine Hanover - responds to Kakaley
#3 Kuekin - grabbed third last week, these aren't any tougher
#1 Lotzee Man - the trainer driving is not encouraging

Race 4

#6 Ohio Star - racing tough against better, could get that rare victory tonight
#1 Noble Star King - has the driver and the post, not sold on the horse
#4 Parsons Hat - decent against lesser last week, second start back should improve
#5 Elmo's Blaze - improved post and improved weather should aid this one

Race 5

#5 Stonebridge Romeo - big time class and driver relief, only a break could derail him Best Bet
#2 Nico Mirabel - moves inside after nice effort, never wins
#1 Heza Chip - should get something from the rail with a flat trip
#9 Victor L A - if he continues to improve, he could be on the ticket

Race 6

#7 Dreamie Affair - new connections, how good is he?
#2 Jack's A Crusin - moves back inside where he will be tough
#1 Ben's Big Bird - the rail
#5 Rocknroll Attack - third start off the scratch, Merriman will keep him in the game

Race 7

#3 Armbro Deck - has the post advantage over Ricky, very sharp
#5 Riccafella Center - some early speed inside him tonight, could pay the price to get to the top
#4 Super Max N - couple tough trips lately, better post tonight
#1 Guten Morgan - can protect his position, will hang around

Race 8

#3 Doc Otis - should have the early lead, then it's a matter of hanging on
#7 Contradiction - really nice victory last week, the post shift won't help
#4 Rocky Bay - can race with this group, more consideration if Ryan had stayed aboard
#1 Corleones Capo - has the rail for new trainer/driver

Race 9

#2 Blue My Mind - should start out his four year old campaign in style with the driver change
#5 Shannons Boy Scout - give this one a driver, Tom
#1 Wart - has Merriman and the rail, zero for last year not encouraging
#9 T Tar's Magic Man - in cheap, post and driver leave me cold

Race 10

#4 RU Lonesome Tonight - could be tough if he's back to his spring form Value Play
#5 Yoo Hoo Bunny - crushed them last week, hasn't started this far out in a while
#9 Sunday Attack - third start back, should top last weeks effort
#7 Townline Roll On - lesser than he's been facing, Merriman back

Race 11

#4 Upfront Navigator - drops back to a more comfortable level, nothing inside him to beat
#9 Smok'n Coalburner - seldom puts two good ones together, but there's that possibility
#1 Fessup Fred - has the class, post, and driver - form is lacking
#7 CSI Love Hurts - another poor post, his time will come

Race 12

#1 Magical Racer - gets both a post and driver tonight
#4 Windspur - has been a disappointment, moves back inside
#9 Big Head Hundreds - made a move last week, could improve more in his third start
#7 Wocko The Beaut N - Melloy horses always improve with a catch driver
