Selections for Wednesday January 28. Heard the weather is wicked back east. That could change everything. Throw these selections in the trash if a bunch scratch and the top drivers are no shows.

#1 Matador Monster - cut the mile last week, may not get caught tonight
#3 Farbe - the other that could get the lead, will be tough on the front end
#2 El Vonte Q - first out last week
#9 Miller Please - not really a claimer, doesn't need to do much to earn a check

Race 2

#2 Lima Honor - beaten favorite picks up Kakaley
#9 Cat Four - a complete unknown, but Virgil sends them here to win
#4 Zipsnapndrop - class dropper racing pretty well, 4th race on lasix
#1 Average Hoss - almost blew up the tote board from the 8 hole last week

Race 3

#4 He's A Wild Card - been off a while, but I like the driver change
#3 Vrahos Again - has been knocking on the door, Aaron may help him open it
#6 Handsome Harley - wins every other start, seldom from this far out
#5 Tommy G - potentially could be the best, needs to stay flat for Donny Mac

Race 4

#6 Magic Dart - major class drop, not much to beat tonight
#2 Stand Tall McGraw - flat last week, may need another start
#4 Powercord - closed willingly from the outside last week
#1 Toronado Mindale - on the board a lot last season, has the rail

Race 5

#6 Lucky Vegas - class dropper shuffled badly last week, will work out a trip from here
#9 CG's Wonder - also dropping, Miller has won with him before
#2 I'm Patrick - never wins, but should be able to compete with these
#4 Albert's Angel - has Kakaley going for him, not much else

Race 6

#1 Whos Yur Daddy Now - sick scratch a concern, should go right down the road if he's healthy
#2 Chupp Don - the post shift and driver change could be enough
#3 Final Attack - threw out the anchor last week, could have been just an anomaly
#4 Rabbitman - drop in class will make him competitive tonight

Race 7

#4 Sometimes Eternal - third start back, Aaron beat better with this horse last fall
#1 Kassamatt - big back half last week, need to see that again
#5 Covered Connection - Kakaley gets the best out of the class dropper, the barn change won't hurt
#8 Linns Dream - best of the rest, no post tonight

Race 8

#3 Thunder Shower - hard to go against this one even with the class jump
#1 Seaworthy - drops and gets Merriman back
#4 Three Good Fellows - third local start, softer field tonight
#5 Hogue's Rocky - at least as good as the rest, waiting for a catch driver

Race 9

#4 Fantastic Lane - has come alive for new barn, minor upset tonight
#6 Robin Dontget - proven winner in this class, post could be an issue tonight
#1 Barratry - moved up which is encouraging, still looks awfully rough
#3 CDS Report - Leb invader looks like he fits with these

Race 10

#2 Never - in very soft
#9 G Rod - would like this speed ball better on the gate
#1 Thisonesforupops - the move inside will help a lot
#6 Johnnys Reactor - came alive with Matt, don't really know his full potential

Race 11

#1 Art's Baker - very sharp and has the rail
#9 Irish Raider - talk about sharp, hasn't missed a check forever
#4 Keystone Resident - 10 claimer in against 5's, stale date is the issue
#5 E C K - could be another tough trip tonight

Race 12

#1 Exceptional Toy - rates the edge here with the rail
#5 Eagle Thriller - post hurt last week, better spot tonight
#7 Bacon Hill Bandit - the class of the field with no post, will benefit from inside scratches
#4 Tyler's Charm - doesn't win enough top rate any higher, a close fourth last time out

Race 13

#1 Royal Tattler - the least ugly of the bunch
#2 Red Heads Star - Kakaley generally puts this one on the board
#3 Edition J B - the Young stable has done quite well this meet
#5 Honey Is That You - potentially the best of the bunch, waiting on a catch driver
