Figure if Aaron is still in Ohio by fair and sires stakes, he will stick around till the fall. But could he be the next to leave ?
Tuesday Stats Aaron 6-1-2-0; purse money won $2350 Grismore 5-2-0-1; purse money won $7300
Wednesday Stats for Arod and Thursday for Gris Aaron 11-1-3-3; Purse money won $5134 Grismore 4-1-2-0; purse money won $10,385
Not only did Aaron have a good night on Wednesday but another good stat was out of 11 drives, he got his owners and trainers a check in EVERY start.
Advice to Aaron. You should consider moving to Columbus this summer. Purse structure will be similar to Northfield. Alot of sire stakes drives down in that area, good fairs, many early closer events, trainers like Virgil / Burke / Arledge, possibly no Randy Tharps to dominate..... Hope the best for ya in the coming years

Steak Dinner in the Scioto clubhouse. i wouldn't do that to ya.
You are right about the purse structure probably declining, hell they probably would be lucky to finish the meet.
I just think Arod would be better served down here getting drives from some more prominent trainers like Morgan and Burke. They will be looking for someone to take advantage of driving some good stock ( provided Tharps does not come back). The fair circuit in Central and Southern Ohio is not only keeps a busy schedule, some of the super stakes are actually worth making the trip. Now Northfield has graduated many drivers to the upper leagues. Grismore, Panteleano, Kash Jr, Holliday. But getting some drives from some of the biggest stables in this part of the country would not hurt. I think the time is right for any young and TALENTED driver to take a shot at a Tioga Downs and Chester Downs and establish themselves as the tracks themselves get established. Meadows and Pocono's will be a tough place to break into. Much like a Yonkers and Monticello. But these new places are ripe for a possible newcomer to make an impact. If you wait a couple more years, then those areas will too become more solidified.
Just a thought !

We really don't think Aaron is up to snuff with Greg, do we? He has looked average at best this year at a very very very watered down Northfield. I like the heck out of Aaron, but he needs to really work on his game. Getting checks against these groups is not enough. Just my 2 cents.
I've decided to up my 2 cents to 4 after watching him drive Saturday night. My goodness...where is the old Aaron. I hope he gets better soon!

I watch more Meadowlands than anything since it's on TVG and can watch from home and the replay show in the morning. This whole AROD not driving up to snuff, not sure about. But the numbers didn't show a good night. 14 - 2 - 3 - 0, that would be 9 off the board finishes and I think 5 did not get a check. Maybe Aaron needs a "slumpbuster" if ya know what that means

Looks like Grismore is picking up some better stock at Yonkers and Jimmy Pantaleano is driving for Noel Daley. Both had a good night last night (Saturday) with Jimmy getting two wins and Gris getting a win and three seconds.
I never thought Grismore would stick it out so long at Yonkers, since he's never had a lot of patience when testing out other tracks for a relocation.

Maybe Greg had an epiphany that if he kept his mouth shut, let his skills do the talking and slowly will break into the colony. Saturday night stats at Yonkers: 8 - 1 - 3 - 0 Purse money won $27595
