Selections for Monday March 9. A whole lot of maybes in this one...I don't know why I torture myself this way. Oh, that's right. I love it so.

Race 1 I hope you know I'm just guessing on this one
#5 Actions By Chip - since the horse can't read a program, he doesn't know this isn't a qualifier
#3 Kevin Goz Commando - has made a decent amount of money for never hitting the board
#1 Standing Guard - has the rail and Donny Mac
#2 Action Victory - jury still out on this stakes filly
Race 2 Some more fancy guesswork
#3 Lady Tiraider - has at least won some races in her life
#1 Sassa Poo - left aggressively for Charlie, impressive breeding
#2 R U There - has the good post and driver, scratch a concern as well as 0 for 25
#5 Average Hoss - has proven competitive in this class
Race 3
#3 Moonlight Red - gets the major class drop and keeps Stahl
#4 Striking Karat - class and post relief, placed last two times in this class, seldom wins
#2 Sweet Potatoe - nice effort last week, beaten by Robbie no endorsement
#6 Rose Run Impetus - the class dropper without a post, Donny Mac may help
Race 4
#1 Aviator Bluestone - too many angles to mention, lack of early foot my only concern
#3 Elm Grove Gerson - first post since dropping to this level, form still questionable
#6 David Erol - claimer in a cheap condition, Merriman a plus
#4 Damien De Vie - with his breeding he should be doing better
Race 5
#3 Ilooklikevada - I know she got pulled along last week, and Aaron chose off, but I still like her
#2 Willmania - never misses at this level
#1 Mr Mime - has everything going for him tonight
#4 Clayton Delaney - decent qualifier judging by who beat him, risky considering his history
Race 6
#3 Constantinoble - only early speed in the race, bye bye
#2 Yankee Request - big effort in first start, the bounce factor a possibility
#4 Dreamie Affair - grabbed third last week, why not again?
#5 Crazy Train - scratch a concern, may be the best in the race, but will need to prove it
Race 7
#4 I'm Faster - if the track is off, so will he, otherwise he'll be faster
#2 Free For Life - got the good trip last week, may try to do the work himself tonight
#1 I Can Scoot Too - struggles to win without the good early speed
#3 Rabbitman - best post in a while, should be able to compete against these
Race 8
#3 Super Max N - catch him while he's sharp, and he's super sharp right now
#5 Joey Pants - can't argue with success, just like the super one better
#7 KB's On My Toes - don't like claimers dropping, but he's too good not to include
#2 Breeze On By N - always a player when he has a post
Race 9
#5 Three Good Fellows - has been in tough and racing tough, should beat these tonight
#1 Trytopass - broke and still got around the track well, should hit the board here
#2 Double A - moves back inside, can't argue with the success Frank has had with this one
#4 Quantum King Leo - moving up during a claiming war, can't leave Merriman out
Race 10 Don't bet the house on this one, maybe the mortgage , but not the house
#3 Gator at The Door - taking a chance with this one, but there is really nothing else to like
#4 Townline Roll On - got the shuffle job last week, probably leaves tonight
#1 CG's Wonder - had nothing from the rail last week, another chance tonight
#7 Allamerican Viper - eventful trip last week, will leave for position
Race 11
#1 Itza Goozi Girl - throw the last line out, look three back Best Bet
#2 Goldies Girl - released from post 7 purgatory, seldom seen at this level
#3 Town Toots - the right Merriman in the bike, but the top two are better
#6 R Little Shmoopy - beat some bad horses two back, could get a minor piece tonight
Race 12 Longshot of the night
#6 Cadillacconnection - I know what you're thinking, but he's racing better than the rest of these
#9 Lucky And free - can't like a speed horse from the second tier, unless Merriman is driving
#2 Thebigguyfromtown - has stunk up the joint the last three months, can't trust him anymore.
#1 Bos Laughin - Kakaley has kicked started the 12yo, but he's in against claimers tonight
Race 13
#2 Red Heads Star - the Saturday horse racing on Monday angle seldom fails
#1 Bobbys On The Move - a race under his belt and now with the rail
#5 Bee Fit - Bartley can sometimes get this kind of horse going, like his early speed
#3 Domenico - I'll give him another chance, but I sure didn't like what I saw last week
Good Luck
