Selections for Tuesday March 24. Some interesting choices by yours truly. Let's make some money tonight.

Race 1

#6 Earnhardt Hanover - super sharp, don't see him losing this one
#1 Game Portia - an enigma for sure, need to see her win one before I can put her higher
#4 Beach Escape - proven winner in this class, gets class relief in her second start
#3 Art's Special Boy - another Angus project, he's made winners out of several like this one

Race 2

#7 Rudy - 2:01+ at Lebanon beats anything in this race
#8 Blue Rock Linnie - we saw this Delbert Ross/Bob Eidens/Aaron Merriman show yesterday
#1 Doowrah's Trifold - like his early speed, only seven starts, could get better
#3 R U There - wasn't sold last week, still not buying

Race 3

#7 Blue Rock Haymaker - another Blue Rock Special, see comments above
#4 Komodo Island - Charlie's not afraid to leave, how long will the horse last is the question
#2 Sinner's Last Ride - badly beaten favorite gets another shot, third start back
#3 Sky Strikes - back on the gate, competes at this level

Race 4

#4 Fantastic Fran - much the best if she's ready, and Loney gets them ready
#2 Survivor I Am - hasn't had a post since the scratch, will take advantage tonight
#5 A Fleet Angel - bounced a bit last week, drops to a more comfortable level
#7 Anything But Plain - big time class relief, would like her better with a post

Race 5 Breaker Breaker

#4 Stonebridge Romeo - can only beat himself
#9 Elektrafreak - can't seem to put one across even at this level, post no help
#2 Charming Comer - first start with a post for new barn, won seven times last year
#1 Isn't She Precious - has the rail, will trot the mile

Race 6

#1 Noble Star King - racing pretty well considering his draws, class should be labeled NW250PS lite
#2 Rabbitman - not a horse that makes the class jump, but as noted, this really isn't a jump
#8 Aviator Bluestone - since Kakaley can win with a three legged mule, have to include him here
#3 Doowrah Silver - another without a post last two, would like her better on Fridays

Race 7

#6 Elm Grove Gerson - Knipper woke up his new charge last night, guessing this one too
#8 The Pan Coulee Dam - major class relief in his third start back, would put him on top with a post
#9 Big Head Hundreds - how many chances does this one get? 1 for last 48 not encouraging
#2 Windspur - generally competitive at this level, has been backing up, not a good sign

Race 8 Longshot Special

#4 Keystone Tristan - look at that back half, the horse will leave if asked, ask him tonight, Robin
#2 Colby D - green trotter has the ability, anyone else notice how well DonnyMac is driving these days?
#1 Praying For A Win - Merriman got him going, will need to do even better with the class jump
#3 Rose Run Igor - worth watching for the future, needs a flat trip

Race 9

#3 Go Again - 50 cent horse beat these guys last week, maybe 10 cents tonight Yawn
#2 Knockout Sahbra - racing as well as his 11 year old legs can go
#1 Armbro Deck - Kakaley and the rail will help this 3 claimer earn a check
#6 Make Me Proudchico - a fan of this one only when Merriman drives

Race 10 Could Be A Value

#9 Silentsteel - hunch play, moves inside, had a lot of pace last week
#2 Millennium Speed - leaves pretty well, may try to cut the mile, 1:57.3 at Lon last year a tell
#1 Allamerican Amigo - that the five year old is for sale this cheap is a tell, can't believe he's right
#5 Farbe - third start for new barn, lots of miles on this eight year old, we'll see

Race 11

#4 Honorable Guy - should beat these guys, tough trip or not Best Bet
#3 K F B Boomerang - love four year olds who like to win, trainer leaves me cold
#9 Grit Your Teeth - never has an easy time of it, this post guarantees another eventful trip
#1 Redzilla - has the rail and gets away well, a step above his best class

Race 12 Longshot Special Part Deux

#2 Dontsayno - excuses in last three, off to the races tonight
#4 Screaming Scooter - made a big move against lesser, jury still out on this one
#9 Nuke Kidin Town - not normally a quitter, so I'll overlook that last line (for now)
#5 Powerful Cam - has beaten better, may get back in the game with the improved post

Race 8 Longshot Special

#4 Keystone Tristan - look at that back half, the horse will leave if asked, ask him tonight, Robin

Watched the video becuase 58.2 seemed a bit hard to believe. It was. Bad chart, although the back half was still around a minute and this one CAN contend.

So much for "longshot special". From 15-1 ML to post time favorite. Sheesh. Guess we all saw the obvious, and I'm not as clever or clairvoyant as I thought I was.
