Selections for Monday March 30. Ah, a new week and some new ideas. Hope the new ideas aren't weak.

Race 1

#2 Whorah - major class relief in his third start
#1 Icaria Beach - like the double qualifier, probably as fast as anything in the race
#6 R U There - good effort last time, but post six is not post three
#9 Average Hoss - shouldn't need to do too much from here for another check

Race 2

#7 Dreamie Affair - these are easier than last week, no problem Best Bet
#4 Shelbys Muneymaker - I know it was a while ago, but the 10/11 line is impressive
#2 Kaybee's Pride - racing pretty well, but Matt not in the bike tonight
#1 Crazy Train - a Stahl call, the rail helps a bit

Race 3

#2 Cavaliers Victory - decent qualifier considering who beat him
#6 Rebel Cheer - newcomer shows more speed than most of these, 0 for 28 a turn off
#3 Hoosier Jazz - tried last week, but staying flat was more important
#7 Ann Arbor - speed challenged and a bad post, but somehow she hits the board her last two

Race 4

#3 Attack On The Town - expect Joey to put her in the lead, they may not catch her
#4 Fox Valley Galaxy - an unknown, except for her very good early foot, could also leave tonight
#9 CG's Wonder - could be the best horse, but this post could be the killer
#6 Eagle Thriller - had his best chance last week, tougher assignment tonight

Race 5

#2 Up Front Hanover - should be dominant with this post
#1 Tough Bow Min - another pocket trip, another on the board finish
#6 Art's Baker - very sharp and adds Kakaley, post is against him tonight
#5 Eye Of The Dog - the racing gods smiled on him last time, can't expect it every week

Race 6 Breaker Breaker

#2 Bette Lavec - if Wyatt keeps her together, she goes right down the road
#3 Lignanao - Kakaley last to win with him, may not be in the best form
#1 Rose Run Impetus - another who regularly beats herself
#7 Master GP Dean - not sure why he's favored from this post, but he had a decent first start

Race 7

#4 Fox Valley Shaman - class wins the cheapies, a dry track would help his cause
#3 Snows Bangert Boy - beats the rest of these from the improved post
#6 Final Attack - badly beaten favorite still better than most of these
#5 Three Sox Missing - racing him back into condition, should get better

Race 8

#1 Done It All - has been in too tough, great shot tonight
#3 Keep Counting - has some trot, first post in this class
#2 Fortune King - back on the gate, always closes well
#4 Moneyman - how many chances does he need? beaten favorite a habit

Race 9

#1 Liltycantbedenied - the only horse that could beat him last week did, and he's not in this one
#2 Mostly Magic - longshot special couldn't quite hang on, leaves for position
#9 Fortune Ho - hard to like a speed horse from this post
#4 Silentsteel - bounced a bit last week, another chance tonight

Race 10

#2 Captain Korki - love this trotter, love him even more with the driver change Perhaps A Value
#3 Corleones Capo - looked very good last week, should be a player again
#1 Sun Of A Victory - earned a ton last year, could need a start or two
#9 Carry The Light - very nice qualifier, hope to see her on Fridays

Race 11

#9 Parisian Bromac N - third start for new barn, with Merriman it's now or never
#3 Red Heads Star - fast as anything in the race, but hates to win
#1 I'm Patrick - also allergic to the winners circle
#2 Parsons Hat - no trip at all last week, can leave a little bit

Race 12

#7 Class Worker - Merriman always gets this one rolling
#2 Breeze On By - runaway train last week, a better rating could win it
#9 Inquisitive Me - made some money last year, curious Putney not training his own?
#3 Bahama Bomber - when he draws well, he races well
