Northfield regulars will remember this four year old who started her career here this past winter. She has since moved east where we have been able to follow her progress at Yonkers and Chester. She is entered this evening at Meadowlands race four, a F&M NW2 event. She drew post four with Tim Tetrick doing the driving. Looking over this not so stellar field, it would appear she has an excellent shot of earning her first victory since leaving Ohio. 9-2 on the morning line, I'm guessing the final price will be substantially lower, perhaps the bettors will even make her chalk.
The competition would seem to be coming from #3 Society's Child with George Brennan. A pretty fast three year old making only her seventh start. The knock on her is that she can't seem to stay flat in real races after looking very good in her qualifiers. She has jumped in her last four straight. The other entry we have to like is #6 Phaelen Lucky with Andy Miller aboard. The tandem of Erv Miller/Andy Miller has been golden at the Big M this season. The mare has run two qualifiers over the M1 track, improving in the second one, after racing in tough company at Balmoral and Hoosier. She looks like the one to beat, imo.
Good luck to the Dettore stable tonight.

Society's child is a deadlock cinch. Take it to the bank! Her qualifier was probably the best qualifier of any that day. And that is saying an awful lot....That is unless Clair is driving Eagle See... ;D ;D IMO

Was Eagle See with the Umholtz stable? Clair did train her (and drove her to her maiden win) but the Dettore's own her.

Society's Child certainly could win it, if (and that's a big if) she paces the entire mile. That hasn't happened in her last four starts.

Very interesting race that is wide open 2 horses overlooked and need to be considered especially if taking a shot at the super is the #1 Boston Babe - hung out a long way in last will ride the rail here and try to find room late- actually could win this at a price. The other is the #10 Uma Hanover - don't think she is a threat to win, but she looks good enough to be in contention late
Good luck the super should pay well IMO
