As I am enjoying my day off, I am in front of my computer looking at my online wagering site (America tab) and looking at the tracks available for wagering. Most of you probaly only bet Northfield and maybe one other track. I probably have bet EVERY track available at least once over the last couple of years. I have been having success at Northfield, so i should handicap tomorrows card and call it a day. Will I do that....lol....no. I will probably download Penn Nationals racecard. My question is, AM I A DEGENERATE?? Instead of horseracing tonight, I could probably get some much needed sleep, scour the internet for some needy cause I could donate to, learn a new hobby, gulp, spend some time watching soap operas with the wife, etc,.

I just LOVE handicapping!!!!!!!

Jon, you are only a degenerate if you wager beyond your means. Otherwise, you are just a FANatic. Most of us follow other tracks but bet a select few that we are comfortable with. The Meadows in PA used to be my alternate track, but now I like Yonkers and the Meadowlands.

But my feeling is the degenrates are the ones who think every race is fixed and everybody cheats and then still bets only to complain
