Alright folks, how in the hell does this horse win? he has fnished a combined 139 lengths back in his last 5 races!!! His average race time over the last 5 races is:207.1. On the other hand, a horse like Spit Happens has been averaging a race time of: 201.7. Can anyone explain this?

Country Parson has some ability, but only about what you would expect in nw200. I believe Kris Rickert had him earlier this year or last year and I used him successfully in some wagers. But off of the current form AND with Frank Harris driving, his win looks improbable. From the race chart last night, it looks like the horse might have taken advantage of road trouble last night, when the #3 horse broke near the 3/4. I didn't see the race. Maybe someone else can pipe in with whether the break had an affect on the outcome.

Couple of possibilities - one the horse was making only his second start after a layoff in which he stopped using lasix upon his return he tied his mark that he made last year as a 4 yr old and theory has it a trotter at 5 should be better than he was at 4.
the other and I may be completely off base here but it looked like the driver of Spit happens got caught napping when he turned for home and no one was around him
