Bus Fare ....WINS AT 45-1
Clm Prc: $5,000 BUS FARE br g 11 Towner's Big Guy-Dust My Broom-Raven Hanover
, 1:571 NFLD1/2
2009: 24 4 5 4 $6,337 2008: 0 0 0 0 $0 Life: 51 11 10 7 $20,360 LAST 5 STS. - $1,680
This horse must have been injured or something else has kept him from racing , in his career he has 12 wins in 52 starts. It's nice to see an 11 year old race with heart as his trainer and driver probably already know this for sure.

If you look at Bus Fare's past performance lines, you'll see that he actually finished better than three other highly touted horses in his last race: Chain of Command, Chang Dynasty and Prepare to Attack. Bus Fare has been racing well, getting a paycheck in five of his last six trips to the post.
Still, with Yankee Flyer, No Risk and Key Western also in this race Saturday night, it would have been hard to include Bus Fare in one's wagering choices.
And of course, you have to consider the driver, Charlie Smith. He always seems to do well when he is sucked along with the flow. On a few occasions, I've seen him try for the lead from an outside post, but rarely has it benefited him or the horse. He seems to always do well with an inside post, like Charlie Wyers.

Bus Fare on Saturday Night , an eleven year old gelding paced to a new lifetime mark of 155.4 . Having only 56 races lifetime 12 wins/ 11 places/7 show finishes , this gelding loves to compete and win.....a risky claim for sure but if you wanted a racehorse who could give you a few trips to the green carpet and pay his way for balance of his short racing career this is the type i'd look at.
