I know many horseplayers have had this experience.

I really liked Race On Wonder last week, but she and Ryan Stahl couldn't come through with a nice 8-1 price. So what happens a week later...Stahl gets off (to drive a Kent Sherman trainee, understandable) , Chris Page gets on, and puts the horse in the winners circle at 17-1, blowing up my perfectly good Pick4 ticket. Double

Too late now. Next week, if you bet her, she'll implode. But, if she's still double digits, might be worth the bet.

The more "amazing" thing was that my computer algorithm had her on top, but I just couldn't trust the horse.
