Selections for Monday, December 14. Mondays have had some interesting racing lately.

Race 1 Could Be Ugly

#9 Queens Scooter - place in his last two, should get the job done tonight
#4 Scootin Icon - 5yo maidens aren't my cup of tea, would like him better with a driver
#2 GE's Beth - can't put the badly beaten favorite on top
#1 Tackie Toe - the rail may help, would like to see him get away better

Race 2

#1 Super Speedway - new connections, new ideas, like the driver change
#3 Scoremania - the type of field this one can beat, even with big Dan in the sulky
#2 Hylite Lavec - stunk up the joint last start, otherwise I'd put him on top
#7 Au Bon Hall - looking for a better trip, made big money last season

Race 3

#2 D T Butter - should clear tonight and win this
#1 Yana Returns - beaten favorite has yet to show much
#9 Real Sexy - the automatic call, should get the trip
#3 Rich Man Poor Man - still trying to make a living, best post/driver in a while

Race 4

#2 Big Bad TJ - should be easy money on the drop and move inside
#4 Valiant Venture - Deaton's back, not much else in this one
#5 Panti-Apartheid - will need a start after the scratch
#6 Bad Boy Bunny - nice move in the last, negative driver change

Race 5

#7 J And S Hoover - when you win by 10 post doesn't matter
#5 Diel's Deal - showed something after the break
#3 Summer Blast - positive post for a change, tough trip in last
#9 Valient Prayer - drops and stays inside

Race 6

#4 Hawaiian Music Man - purely a play on the barn and driver change
#1 Come Along Fred - great shot with Deaton and the rail
#9 Valentinos Peace - waiting on this one, he should be doing better
#6 Danny-O - no suck along trip tonight

Race 7

#1 Soul Redeemer - locked in last week, should wire these
#9 Varitek - very nice win last week, unproven at this level
#4 E C K - has fallen off the radar screen lately, used to kick butt in this class
#3 Slayer Of Dragons - no trips in his first two local starts, 8 time winner this year

Race 8

#2 Empire State - first post for his new connections, cha-ching
#1 As If I'm Magic - third time might be the charm
#9 Up Front Hanover - under performer should get the good trip
#4 Chisum - back on the gate, has not looked his best lately

Race 9 Breaker Breaker

#4 Master Buckin UHL - Ryan has driven some competitive races with him, risky
#9 Bouttofindout - would be the call with a different post
#1 Helookslikeahummer - back on the rail, have to consider
#3 Mario's Schatzi - not sure she can make the jump

Race 10

#9 Exceptional Toy - exceptionally sharp right now
#1 Intrepid Aries - like this 3yo, first post since his win
#3 Tieler Bea Hotspur - drops from the claimers, place finish last time in this class
#5 Electric Wizard - will be looking for a trip

Race 11

#1 Jim - overlays this field
#9 Ritzy Rip - liked her a lot last time, no reason to get off
#2 I Da Girl - the other claimer with a post
#3 Celebrity Yank - moves back inside, decent early speed

Race 12

#2 Up Front Carl - Koch didn't get him to lose
#4 Mr Bacciagalupe - moves back inside and picks up Deaton
#1 Travel Bug N - sorry, can't put a 13yo on top
#9 Cruisin Sam - could drag along for a piece

Race 13

#4 Zipsnapndrop - clears tonight
#1 Slide Lock - Deaton and the rail, still don't like claimers dropping
#3 Red Cloud Rising - how much did that last race take out of him?
#9 Linns Dream - easily last week, post the issue tonight
