Race 8 #1 Celebrity Wonder - has the rail and driver change after a couple of bad trips. The #5 will have heavy backing at the windows - big driver, trainer change and back on lasix. most likely heavy chalk and he will really have to step it up to beat the #1
Key 1 over 4-5-9
Good luck

Welcome back Jay. Although I think the #1 Celebrity Wonder is a nice trotter, one of Quesenberry's better horses in about a life time, it's hard to go against the huge driver/trainer change on the #5 Outdoor Action. The Deaton barn is red hot right now and Outdoor has been very lightly raced, so he has unknown potential. My pick would be the 5-1-9.

Jay, as it turned out, Celebrity Wonder did win the race, at nice 3-1 odds. However, Outdoor Action had terrible road trouble with interference from My Mystique going around the first turn and then having to negotiate around Fessup Fred going to the 1/4 mark. Deaton consequently got hung the entire mile but still was within striking distance at the top of the stretch. A good one to file away.

I got lucky- I liked Deaton's horse alot and was surprised he went off 6/5 I really thought he would be either 2/5 or 3/5 at most and even got more fortunate as although I keyed the1 over the 4-5-9 for $10 total of 60, I also played a $5 1 over 4-5-9 with 2-4-5-6-9.
It was the only race that I wagered all night.

Welcome back to the Board !!!
Congrats on hitting the value play of the night. Sadly I was already at the racetrack at 7:08 p.m. and thus could not take advantage of your insight. It was doubley painful as I had three out of four in the pick four missing THE EIGHT RACE. I just couldn't use a horse that had a trainer that had not had a horse run first or second this year. I did manage to keep my streak of not having a winning night in 2010 alive. Maybe I should change my board name to JimQuesenberry. Actually that wouldn't work. The real Quesenberry had something Saturday that I haven't yet had this year....a winning night.
Looking forward to more (AND EARLIER) comments and insight from you in the near future.
