Tuesday Night, March 23, 2010 Recap: We've got a horse race developing in our handicapping contest as Cliff and The Believer post lucrative nights at the cashier's window, closing in fast on Trackrat and Jimhorseman. Cliff demonstrated the dual edged handicapping weapon of skill and luck in collecting $3421 for his Pick Five and Pick Four wagers. The skill was evident in crafting his winning wagers, while the luck came into play with a late scratch in the eighth race, giving Cliff a second winning Pick Four ticket. The Believer had $10 worth of winning superfecta tickets in the tenth race for $2160.
Therealmuljuice cashed a $5 trifecta box in the second race for $480 (2.5 x $192) and came right back in the third with a $1 trifecta worth $438.80. Jimhorseman's $10 exacta in the seventh race was worth $45, while his $20 worth of trifecta tickets in the eighth race was worth $294. Trackrat also hit the second race trifecta for $192 on a $2 ticket.
Approaching the final four race programs of the March contest, we have an unprecedented FOUR cappers with over $5000 in their bankrolls. Time for some serious handicapping!!
