Monday Night, April 12, 2010 Recap: "Double-digit" Dan Charlino took advantage of sizzling fractions by runnerup Extravagant Manner in the twelfth race NW250 trot to capture that event behind Master Buckin Uhl at 27-1 odds, posting a new lifetime mark of 159.0. Charlino just got up at the wire to win the photo. Contest beneficiary of Dan's patient drive was Therealmuljuice who had keyed Master Buckin Uhl over the field in a $1 trifecta worth $459.80. Muley cashed two other contest wagers, a $20 exacta in the seventh race for $216 and a $2 trifecta in the eleventh race for $62.40 to inch up closer to The Believer, who still leads the April contest by a diminishing lead.
Kangaroox, getting dangerously close to tapping out, cashed $10 worth of trifecta tickets in the seventh race for $261 (5 x $52.20).
Looking ahead to Tuesday night's program, it's raining heavily in the Cleveland area this morning but it is expected to clear by post time tonight. Track might be a little soft but probably not enough to be a factor. The temperature will hover around 50. Good luck to everyone.
