Scott has harnessed three 3-year-old standardbreds in the the past four Northfield programs and all three have won easily. The filly trotter that won Friday night at 23-1 odds (Yesternite) had campaigned on the county fair circuit as a 2-year-old.
The filly trotter that won Tuesday night, Definitely Mamie, was racing for the first time while the filly pacer that won, Oaks Luck, was racing for the second time this year and only the fourth start of her career.
Looks like Scott is bringing them in READY to win.

Yesternite made it to the winner's circle two Friday nights in a row with a nice win in 201.1 over an older field of NW250 fillies and mares. Driver/trainer Scott Cox made up 8 lengths in the last half mile to nip class-dropping pacesetter Anastasia Broadway at the wire.

A nice filly, bu a back half in 1:02. 3 didn't hurt.
A horse to watch from last night is Mar-bear. Was locked on the pylons by McIntyre and Wishiwasarichgirl for most of the mile and flew late, but was way too far back.

Two others to watch for betting purposes, though neither are youngsters at 6 years and 5 years. Susanna Coe and Tally Ho Chip. Both have had trouble with breaking. But both have ability and you will get nice odds. I like cheap trots, because you can sometimes get 20-1 horses that are as good as the favorites. And if the 20-1 horses can break, well guess what, so can the favorites.
