His dad said he may be out for as much as a year.
I feel really sorry for Aaron who was well on his quest to be the best driver of the year.
And I feel bad for Northfield who will indeed miss the driving skills of Aaron. That was apparent in the performance of the replacement drives in yesterdays programs.
I, and, I am sure, all the other posters wish Aaron the speediest recovery possible

A couple years ago, if I remember correctly, Aaron broke both wrists in an accident at Northfield. He was out for a long time and when he came back, he drove very tentatively for a while until he regained his confidence... or perhaps until he regained the strength in his hands to control the horses.
If Aaron had continued his winning pace and his hectic commuter schedule this year, no one would have caught him for the number of wins.
