What happened to the claiming classes at Northfiel

I printed a program for tonight and noticed that there was a 3000-5000 claimer. What happened to having a couple of 3's a night, a 4 claimer or 2 and a possible 5.

What has caused the drop off in entries.

Is there any plans to try and reverse this or is the claiming ranks gone???

I hate mixed claimers and refuse to wager them. Of course, what ever happened to 8, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, & 25 claimers that used to race here? Oops, there I go again, feeling sorry for myself.

Blame it on Fred Winstead and Kent Sherman (among others and I am not actually "blaming" them. The classes do not fill because they keep jamming horses into classes and horsemen would rather race in conditions than face those hot horses
