Giss, now that the opposition to slots has dropped out, can the governor go ahead now with an executive order allowing slots at the track, or does he still need the legislature to pass a bill allowing slots?

Nobody seems to know 100% for sure. The law is already in place, there are a few lawsuits that need to be resolved. We are just waiitng for guidance at this point. Need rules to be established, regardless, but the Lottery Commission could do that quickly. But, with the audit on hold by Mary Taylor, they may move slowly, mmmm, I smell a rat. I would counsel patience.
