Giss, the posted final odds on the last race Friday night (November 12) at Northfield appear to be wrong. The results show Deaton's horse at 25-1 odds, but paying only $9.
The same results are over on the USTA site.

Trackrat - I wagered the final race Friday night and Deaton's horse Silver Dollar Star was clearly listed at odds of 7-2 at post time and during the race. Actually it seems that all of the odds on the participants are incorrect. I know that the third place horse; Paint Wheel, went off at odds of at least 99-1 though it is listed at 20-1 on the Northfield results site. I'm sure it is just an imput error that was picked up by the USTA.
I was particularly interested in the final race as I made a trifecta wager that had among the various combinations Silver Dollar Star first, I AM Samsational second and (breaking my own rules about always wheeling as any horse can finish third) five horses for third. Alas, I did not have Paint Wheel as one of my five third place horses and missed out on a piece of the almost $22K trifecta payoff. Add in the discovery of flat tire when I left the simulcast facility well after midnight (Thanks Northfield) and it made for one miserable eventual ride home.

I have forwarded this thread to our clerk of course and will have her look into it.
