I was kind of surprised by the schedule for next year. Racing 5 days a week, every day except Tuesday and Sunday (hope they come up with some better horses for the midweek races!) Where do they anticipate the extra stock coming from?
No SATURDAY live racing in May and June? What is the thinking behind not racing on Sat? Isn't that when we normally get the best horses and the best purses?

Giss, with no live racing on Saturdays in May and June, there is really no reason to open the upstairs clubhouse and grandstand for any race dates in May and June. As it is already, only a handful of people frequent (misnomer) the clubhouse restaurant during the week and you have no buffet on Friday anymore.
Does the track plan on closing the upstairs area in May and June?

Same as last year except we will race Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays on the 4 day schedule and Wednesday insteadof Saturday on the three-day. There will be groups in the clubhouse on Fridays in May and June, which will help traffic. There are some other events that i cannot yet release. They also go to the thinking as to why no Saturdays. All will become clear, but I can't release it yet.
