I read in your Northfield selection blog a couple weeks ago that you were taking a trip to visit Vernon and Tioga Downs. Any thoughts on the two tracks? Did you make any other harness racing related stops during that trip?

Sorry this is a bit late...been very busy. Although Vernon could use serious renovation, I was pleasantly surprised at the energy and crowd for a Saturday night. They really emphasize being family-friendly and the entrance is very welcoming (almost county-fair like).
I am told crowds were small at Tioga on the Sunday I was there, but I was busy as heck and thought it a good crowd for a Sunday afternoon. having stopped at Tioga when it was a flea-market years back, I was impressed with how clean and bright it was.
