You would have enjoyed my friend jumping all around when his $1.00 super, in the 7th race Monday, had a 99 to 1 in 4th place.
He stopped jumping when he found out it paid $26.
That's what happens when you have 1 to 9 shots. Just so many of those lopsided wagers these days it's hard to bet and make money.

;D Last year at Batavia Downs I had a 3-1 on the front end, 6-1 for second and a $5 exacta straight. The nut chalk was off the ticket and my exacta paid a whopping $23! It easily should have paid $50, but with no money in the pool. So instead of collecting $125 I got $58!

I have had a handful of trifectas at the Meadows that had longshots and the tri paid less than half of what Northfield would have paid.
