We know Tyler has one. Who else?
I've seen Matt Kakaley with one too.

Trackrat:
Sigh - I guess I should be happy it went as long as it did before people began catching on to the UFO bike angle. Believe it or not Russell Swartz was one of the first Northfield regulars to use it and my friends and I caught him often when he was on his UFO related tear a few months ago. Ryan Stahl uses one almost exclusively and was very hot when he first acquired it. Keith Kash Jr has an orange one and only uses it sporadically. I tend to throw him in on my tickets when he has it. Elliott Deaton showed up with a black UFO this past tuesday and immediately won the double and three of his first four drives. He was easily winning that night's 6th race with 8-1 Diehl's Deal as he put away the 3-5 Lindy Five Hundred when he turned around to look behind him about 100 yards from the finish and broke his horse. I couldn't believe that I got a $9.00 mutual on Saratoga's Best when Deaton came out with it again in Friday's opener. Later I had Parking Place from post 8 who was parked the mile and still finished 3rd by less than a length.Seems as if Deaton is using it exclusively on Kevin Erhardt trained horses. Of course as noted Tyler Smith exclusively uses one as well. When a driver does not use a UFO it tends to be when on a trotter as the off center sometimes will cause them to be more prone to breaking stride. I would estimate about three quarters of the drivers at the bigger tracks use the UFO so it is not much of an advantage to watch for it there. When new bikes/innovations occur the best time and place to make money on them is at smaller"B" tracks like Northfield when only a few people use them and it is not noticied by the public.
By the way, Dan Noble is going to be driving at Buffalo Raceway on Fridays and Saturdays when it re-opens this week. Buffalo was still a track that had only a small number of UFO's when they shut down for 6 weeks this past December. Will Noble come with one and will that lead him to dominating Buffalo weekends? Will more UFO's show up at Buffalo or will they still be rare enough that when you spot one in the post parade it becomes a betting opportunity? Again small tracks where economics make investment in the latest innovations difficult become the places to watch when things like the Harmer bike a few years ago and the UFO recently come along.
