I am very disappointed in not having live racing on Saturdays. That was my favorite live racing day with better drivers, better horses, higher purses. Couple questions:
Are they doing this for the same reason they did it last year (so they could simalcast the triple crown races)?
Will this continue into the spring and summer?
Where are the horses running that would have run at Northfield?
Other question Where is the Giss? He hasn't posted on here for a while. (of course not to many other people have either)

Northfield will resume Saturday live racing in March. Don't know why they're not racing Saturdays in January and February and don't know if the better horses that normally race on Saturday will be racing during the week.
Northfield will NOT have live racing on the three Saturdays in May and June that have the Triple Crown races.

Northfield will NOT have live racing on the three Saturdays in May and June that have the Triple Crown races. Last year, they were forced to give up Saturday Nights during the summer (May and June) to take the Triple Crown races, the same rule applied this year, but they ended up picking January and February to be the months to take off rather than the two in the summer.

And they also will not have live racing on the triple crown Saturday's in May and June. To finish this off for the fun of it, Northfield will also forfeit live racing on the Breeders Cup for one Saturday come early November. Though that's basically 50 years from now.
