Not sure how much will change at Northfield...I cant see us getting better racing stock.I cant see us getting the better drivers to come race here every day.The purses are still going to be higher at every track within driving distance.It may help the horsemen out a bit,it may help them put a little more money back into their end of the business,but dang,this looks like a short term band-aide to me.Seeing how i only wager 1 harness track,that being Northfield,if they cant put a MUCH better product on the track then what they have been,i guess even i will be gone soon...Won't be seeing any $15,000 claimers running here anytime soon...Hope i'm wrong about this but,it needs to get ALOT better soon,b4 no one is left but the horseman..
